I tried to get a bit closer to take this but a security guard freaked out on me and told me I couldn't' be that close. Here in Texas if some is armed you take their advice...............

I really wanted to get closer so I didn't have too much foreground. I have a hard time with longer lenses because of the background compression. I may try this one again. There is a ditch that runs between the houses and the fuel storage tanks. Unfortunately it's at an angle where the lighting isn't the greatest or it would be a very interesting shot. I know it wouldn't make me feel safer....

hah, first thing i thought when i saw the shot was where is security. we have an local "city" that's an oil refinery and it's like entering a war zone with the security presence.

He was nice and just doing his job. He didn't give me too hard of a time, he just didn't want me close to the fence taking photos.
