Last week I had a chance to hike into Iceberg Lake in the Many Glaciers area of Glacier Park, Montana USA. Here is a look at what I saw:

Pete,

Sure wish you could have been there to go for a dip! You would have found it invigorating beyond belief. I couldn't believe it but at least 20 people or more were jumping in. Most didn't stay in for more than a few seconds, but they did get wet.

Part of the fun of hiking and photography is that you just never know what you might see that day. While you can't control the weather and your time in a location is pretty short, you see amazing things all the time.

Better grab your camera and towel and head for Iceberg Lake!

Living near Glacier National Park as I do I've been to Iceberg Lake many times. You captured that place very very well. Nice job.

Stunning set Dennis. It reminds me of a place we visited in Argentina many years ago. I need to rescan the slides, but although that looked cold, the temperature was in the mid 70s F. I resisted the temptation to jump in, so I don't know what the water was like
