i'm off for a few days

we had a bit of an issue last night at work. well, when i say a bit of an issue, it was more of a flaming disaster. a propane tanker started leaking heavily on the only north/south expressway which was also our main route to the redneck festival and the beach towns. completely shut down the road for hours. traffic was gridlocked from one end of the state to the other. fun times..

but it brought the big bosses out of their offices and after a brief discussion between phone and radio calls one of them approved a few days leave for the rest of my long weekend off and even let me take my one day back (it's my long weekend so i get 4 days off and i have off tues and weds after). so i'm heading to upstate new york and i'll see you guys in a few days.

thanks guys. we had a great time despite the rain and lack of planning/research. this was our first trip there so we weren't too sure what areas to visit after watkins glen..
