In action.....

Dan Cattermole

Dan Down - The Steampunk Womble
The DJ's!
I done a promo shoot for a group of DJ's not long back. They asked me to do a shoot of them in action in Birmingham, in which I happily accepted.

The guys are fantastic DJ's and do a brilliant job in getting people's groove on..... Even I couldn't stop my groove on with the D7000 in my hands. Lol.

Anyway, a great bunch of guys, here are a load of some snaps of the night

Thanks Pete. The Nikon is impressive, maybe not to many other DSLR users, but I love how things just work so well with it. :)

Love this idea - great shot

Thanks Julian. Much appreciated for the comments.

Thanks Chris, I think I like that one the best too which suits their promotion.
For that shot and the other one similar, I used the off flash in slave and put it behind the DJ.
I will admit with pride though, out of bang on 300 shots, I did about 95% in fully manual mode with the Nikon and 260 of them I'm happy with and are going to be submitted to the client(s).
I've learned a great deal of confidence with my everlasting film obsession. I'd never if even considered manual mode before. :)
