Critique Welcomed In Plane Sight

Finally got away from work, so SWMBO and I went to the Planes of Fame Air Museum Air Show 2013, in Chino CA today.

Lots of WW2 aircraft on display and in the air - sunshine, food stalls, beer - heaven! :D

Some details from the day:

Nice series!
Like the way you've aligned yourself so that your camera and face cannot be seen. Lol.

Thanks everyone! :)

I started out with the 14mm lens trying to take photos of the planes a whole - but it was impracticable due to the large crowds

So I switched up to the 35mm, and went in close for the detail stuff

More structure on the PP for 'Make It Rain' Pete - that's probably what you're seeing

Great shots - I'm fond of the distorting effects of chromium reflections, but I love that underwing shot, there's something about the flatness of the black/white against the varying aluminium textures that appeals to me.
