Standard Rules apply
Photo Submissions:
1. Camera - Any Camera (Digital, Film or video still)
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that win other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size - Image should be set to a maximum of 500 pixels wide.
4. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the Judge will decide if it works.
5. Posting - * ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.* Photo Name in the message subject line.* Camera model & lens used.* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used, to aid others in how you took the photo.
6. Commenting - Constructive comments welcomed.
7. The comp is all about having FUN, so treat the comp in this way, and hopefully we'll all learn a few more photographic skills too!
8. Competition is open to anyone who is registered on British Rally, and should you require any help in sizing photos or providing photo info, as per No. 6 above, please ask as there are enough of us on here who know how to do this, and don't have a problem explaining it to you.
9. Photos should be judged on set up, quality, focusing, technical merit and the wow factor, "and not best mates rules", so please keep this in mind when making your decision
One challenge every week, on the following schedule:
* New Topic - After winner is declared.
The Winner should be announced shortly thereafter. (should the judge not be available to pick a top three within a reasonable time after the comp closes then a majority verdict from all entrants will be enforced or a member who has not entered the comp will be asked to judge)
* The Winner of the competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after the competition is closed. The Judge should give a top three in all comps, and a brief explanation of why they choose the three they did, if possible. Please keep all comments on photos constructive as negative comments are not always appreciated.
