The man in the hat
Took this when I was made to shop against my will. It appears that I wasn't alone... ;)

Jim

I share his Pain every time we go shopping...

Thanks Lesley, Pete and Glen.

Doing a bit of street photography while I wait outside shops was the only way to maintain my sanity!

That is a great capture Jim of a look that I have been trying to master every time I get roped into shopping. I hope that one day I will perfect it and someone will see my pain and take me away from the misery that is traipsing around clothes shops for the best (worst) part of a day.

It seems there are quite a few of us plagued by the suffering that's (un)intentionally imposed upon us.

Nice one Jim. Yes waiting in amongst all the bra's and such outside the changing rooms, never thought i'd say this what a godsend online shopping is.

Ah ha - classic!

Good entry for the shoes theme as well

Thanks Chris. I have been trying to refrain myself from cropping after attending Matt Stuart and Stephen McLaren's workshop. Although they specifically expressed that I should do whatever I feel comfortable with, they did allude that they personally don't crop.

I am purposely emulating their practice in hoping that I can understand their intention eventually.

How was the Matt Stuart and Stephen McLaren workshop Jim?

Did you do a two day one?

Yes, we did a two day one back in June.

They are extremely knowledgeable, and humble, plus they were able to articulate the techniques and mind sets very well (other workshops I attended were not so). They've helped to accelerate in my street photography a great deal.
