LOL Thanks Brian - Wifey said the same thing :)

He was sitting back to back with me - but seeing as the X100 is super quiet and stealthy, he never heard a thing.

Got to love those leaf shutters :D

Leaf shutters are great for stealth. I love shooting my Canon T50, but its got mirror slap, shutter bang, and film transport like a lorry in 1st gear. My Kiev 4A, on the other hand, or my Yashica GSN, they're true Ninjas of the camera world.

Cracking shot chris!
The tones are perfect!
You've got a thing about praying up on people with gadgets, man with a mac book in costa, now man with iPad.
Something's not quite the full bean here...... :D:D

Yeah, perfect shot. I'm scared to take photos in public of the public...my wife frowns on it, like I'm stealing their soul, or something.

Spot on tones there mate!
I live the patchy shapes of the figures in the background!
The chaps pose is spot on too, even the foot looks like its in the right position!

Thanks chaps!

I was all done sniping with the X-Pro1, then as I turned to get up, I spotted this shot - reached for the trusty X100, set the AF point so it was over his head, and it was in the bag :)

The OOF people, and the texture in the guys hair, really kicked of the visualization of the shot - and dictated the wide-ish aperture.

Can you see the two cameras working well side by side?

Already doing just that Hamish - I actually like the colors from the X100 better at the moment, because they're from RAW files, and not those pesky JPEGs!

Haven't had time to play with JPEG yet - was hoping for RAW early on

No sign from Apple or Adobe yet - Apple did a RAW update this week, but no X-Pro1 support yet

Maybe I'll try dialing up Velvia or something 'filmy'

I had a really nice set up on the x100 when I first got it... So Hannah could have a nice point and click mode! Problem was the settings were lost on the first update, I never wrote it down and I havent tried since! It's def possible to get very very nice jpegs out of the x100, so I'm bloody sure the same could be said for the xpro1...
Not that the out the box ones aren't nice, Its just nice to give theses things a bit of the personal touch eh :)
