Douglas McMann Well-Known Member Dec 5, 2016 #1 Gartmorn Dam and the Ochil Hills. Too big a scene for my 200mm, so resorted to the phone... I fired off some with the 200 to stitch together when I return home. Be interesting to see the comparison...

Rob MacKillop Edinburgh Correspondent Dec 5, 2016 #2 Really quite nice, Dougie. Which iPhone is it? I still have a 4s, and will be hanging onto it as long as I can, as the 7 is frightfully expensive. The camera on the 4 is poor compared to the 7.

Douglas McMann Well-Known Member Dec 5, 2016 #3 Thanks Rob....it's the 5s I have (and hopefully will retain for a very long time yet)... I believe they can be picked fairly cheap on fleabay now. I just have to remember to take my reading specs with me everywhere.... I'm able to wirelessly transfer the pics onto my ancient iPad and, using the free Lightroom app, do some editing before uploading.....

Pete Askew Admin Dec 15, 2016 #7 Gorgeous shot, Dougie and I love the way you have anchored the scene with the two stumps.
