That's lovely!
We don't have anyone else on here who does photography like this so it's really nice to see somthing new!
I really like the pose, as with the other shot it has a sort of contrived feel that you see in magasines ...
How much direction do you have to give to the models? Do they just know how to pose?
Do you adjust the clothing? They way it has fallen is perfect

The only thing I might have done here would be to try and calm the highlights a little ... I often have no issue with highlights but for this sort of shot a slightly lower contrast feel might have worked a little better for the background!?

Thank you Hamish.
In fact, 70% of all my shots are like this, some of them are more interesting, some - boring.
When I shot some kind of clothes, I work with professional models and prefer to invite those, who have experience in international model agencies. A lot of our belarussian girls are working in Milano, London, Barcelona or Paris. They know how to pose, how to look, but what I like more is their ability to laugh during some break, but when I take my camera, they immediately become serious. I like that all these girls are ready to work in any condition for hours.

At this time we were shooting summer dresses of my fellow-designer. I will show some standard pictures later after PP. But this picture was made by my will. I asked Violetta to sit and to wait as like she is waiting her boy-friend who is late. The dress I didn't touch, so its all natural. What concerns the directions - it depends, because no matter how professional model is, sometimes it's difficult to explain what you mean or even what you see in your mind.

The highlights are already calmed, because in RAW file they are almost overexposed.

Hamish,
in this photo the retouch of skin took me about 90 minutes. It was critical days of this girl and her face was not so good, so I need to clear it. I Know also, that dress has a lot of wrinkles, but I did not have any intentions to iron it :)

I thought that was the style of the dress ... :)

Well it's certainly a good effort on the skin... I couldn't tell it had been done I dont think!
What methods do you use?

Very very nice Aleks - I like the way the long leg of the model is then echoed in the tall trees and the vertical format of the shot.

There is a great sense of anxious anticipation in her stance and face.

Also noted how well the spike of the heel is highlighted against the dark dress - nice touch.
