It never rains in California... apart from today of course

Given that's it's a rare occurrence in these parts, you have to get out and make the most of it.

All shots X-Pro1 and 60mm Macro in the new (to me) garden :)

Ye that b&w version is the biz Chris..........but the colour version of it works quite well to :D

stunning work Chirs, love them all

Thanks everyone - I've always wanted to take water droplet shots, but this was the first time opportunity and camera/lens came together.

I found that for most shots I really needed to stop down to get suitable DOF, so I was up at f/14 for many of them, and should therefore have used a tripod instead of allowing the camera to use high ISO. (1600)

Next time eh - which might be this weekend based on the weather forecast

What happened to my sunshine! :D

I too like the black and white approach. It seems to allow the eye to focus on the detail of the droplets. I also like the crop that removed the OOF tip of the big leaf.

Are you praying for rain now?
