#4 - with the snow softening the light as you get further from the camera - gorgeous!

So many square crops Hamish - what gives? :D :D

This was the best snow fall I can remember Darren! It came down in one day, they rained and pretty much disappeared over night, that's the ideal for me ... Long enough for me to get wrapped up and go out snapping, but short enough not to cause the whole country to grind to a halt as it invariably does!

Everything has to be square and black and white now Chris ...
I can just about cope with 3:2 landscape, not portrait though ... I blame Pete, Victor and Carl

I don't know what it is but I really like shots 2 and 4 ...

Its a very nice set, Hamish. I agree with Chris about 4 and also I like 2--something about that candy-cane object on the left catches the eye rather nicely.

I focused on that "candy cane" thing as it was the only thing i could focus on quickly ... It was snowing (obviously) and i was trying to avoid the hasselblad getting wet! I didnt think it would come out that well, but it does seem to work ... happy accident

Its the natural vignette of this lens that i like ...

Cheers again all!

I thought about it as it goes ...
I didnt do it for a couple of reasons, one i couldn't seem to get it right and 2 i didnt want to look so blatantly like i was just doing what you would do ;)

here is an attempt

I'll remove them digitally of needs be!
I was just saying to Shaun on aos, I've been pretty much working on the idea that I will worry about dust removal when I print something ... Somthing I intend to do more!
