Critique Welcomed Jealous People

The jealous people in that queue want to be where I am: Inside Diddy Riese, a very popular ice cream shop, on a warm afternoon in Westwood.

I should not be so smug; my wife and daughters anchored me to that queue, which we had stood in for far too long just minutes earlier.

Canon F1 and Canon FD17mm lens. Ilford HP5 Plus, processed in Rodinal.

I confess,...I cropped this image quite significantly due to having captured too much on the right, which unbalanced the scene diabolically.

No,...what happened was I chickened out. In other words, I didn't have the bottle to turn and face them all and snap a picture. (They all looked so angry at having to stand in the sun so long while people like me and my family were inside happily ordering our delights in our own sweet leisurely time.) So I pretended to be shooting something not entirely them.

But you're right, that 17mm pulls in a lot of stuff. Love that lens, Glenn!
