I found out the other day that I needed to back off the exposure when shooting bright flowers, as the solid colors tend to over expose a little and fool the light meter.

You can see just touch of that here too - try backing off half a stop or a stop and you'll get even more detail in the petals

Nice Pete! I agree with Chris' comment on the exposure, but I like this one!

Agreed, winding down te exposure can even make the flowe pop more against what would be a darker background!
Still, pretty photo non the less!!
