This is the second katzeye screen I have bought, the first was for my long time sold D300! I didnt miss the d300 at all other than for its size and the Katzeye screen. I was shooting a D3 for a long time, Katzeye dont make a screen for the D3 so I did without. The day I won my d700 on ebay I ordered a katzeye screen ... It turned up today. Rather over excited I fitted it very promptly and decided I should show you guys exactly what these things are about by making a little video!
I'm very sorry I have such a boring voice and that its all a bit wobbly ... you just have to lump it

I can think of at least two of our newer members who now want one of these ... I'm sorry to have just spent $105 for you
Here is where you can buy one KatzEye™ Optics - Custom Focusing Screens
They are very easy to fit... for the two cameras I have put one in anyway.
The installation instructions I followed https://docs.google.com/a/f8creates.com/viewer?url=http://www.katzeyeoptics.com/files/install9.pdf
Well packed it arrived very safely!
Just be aware if you go for the cheapest shipping option to the uk like I did you will have to pay near £30 in duty! I'm not sure if the more expensive services get arround this somehow? An email to Rachael Katz will probably help answer that question. I have had email convos with her in the past and she has always been incredibly helpful!
I really am a big fan of these screens I have actually mentioned them on here before... but now I have one again and as such I am a very happy bunny indeed!
Some shots taken with a load of my manual focus lenses coming soon
