Yes. I'll admit to being on auto, but I should have been on manual. Truth is I was a bit anxious about being in London. It's the first time I've managed out of Scotland since my anxiety attacks kicked in two years ago. There were moments last week when I thought I wouldn't make it, but thankfully I kept it all in check. While at Kew I started to calm down, and shooting these flowers helped. But I wish I had been inwardly very calm and collected. I think there is a state of calm one must be in to do flower photography well. Maybe some day.

Still, it's not bad for a so-called kit lens, 18-55 zoom. There are many comments on fuji sites about people buying all the Fuji lenses, yet mainly using this one for 90 per cent of their work.
