Excellent Dan. Great idea an very nice shots. And a good ploy, telling us that the camera doesn't work. Now you can just steal her best shots and claim them as your own. Smart!!
I don't want to spoil your fun, Fidel, but this is one of those cases where I wouldn't use Topaz.
It can add too much detail into the skin tones..at least for my taste.
I have seen it used on weather-worn faces but not with softer skin tones, though there are presets aimed at softening images such as portraits.
The new vesion of Topaz Adjust (due out next week-ish...free upgrade) might be better as they've increased the level of control you can get over individual settings, and you can apply the effects to selected areas.
I agree, at the time when I opened this thread I had just finished installing Topaz and while I was eager to try it out my external HDD was not plugged in so due to my laziness it was easier to right-click save than to get my external out & fish for an image out of the thousands that are in there
Dan didn't seem to mind but I did realize after posting that I had butchered the poor little girl's skin tone with that filter "yikes" but it was just a test run and Dan is a sport when it came to it lol
I really like to see things from a different point of view Fidel don't be mistaken, that's the great thing about this site. However, on an honest note, I don't think the topaz suits the skin tone very much, but, I can see the potential it has with many of my other pictures. That's probably why I got a bit excited without justifying the excitement.
