Seems like Kodak have so much intellectual property under patent, that they can wait for others to produce products, and then cash in on the royalties.

Interesting. But given this apparently rich stream, dominance in high-end sensors and no need for costly film manufacturing (just small scale) how on earth do they make a loss?!
