Komical Kevs project 366

great stuff ;) yer i love mine to bits, i took 16gb of photos while away with it, to go with the 3 16gb CF cards i filled with canon so i gonna be reallllllllllllllllllly busy on Lightroom lol

Thanks Pete, there is a lot of detail the other side, the car lights were just in the right place too following the line of the cutouts. I don't like the perspex window but a crop would spoil the image so a revisit is on the agenda when I can spend a little more time composing the shot, this was purely a quick grab as I came out of the Wine merchant and saw the shadows.....Droitwich has a lot of these type of shelters so there may be some more interesting ones and a feel of Alexander Rodchenko 'Girl with Leica' springs to mind :)

I like that light shelter fotie a lot, Kev. It reminds of something you might find in Morocco or some other place in the Islamic world.

Ta Brian, Droitwich Spa Worc's it is and there not many Islamists there, but go 20 mile north and there be mosques and all sorts.

I don't think the council had any spiritual or ethnic influence in the design of these shelters but they've been on my hit list for a while :) and not to graffiti or vandalise them though I did get a OY what you F+*King doing by a SHAG not a bird but that is the localism for Droitwich Folk :D:D

The bus shelter image is very good Kev, Going BW was certainly the right way to go for that. It reminds me a little of this image by: Christopher Anderson Photographs - Great images on this site, worth a look.

Thanks Paul I'll look at this, though I don't want to look as tough I'm following someone else's path. As I have posted earlier I have designs on these shelters along with others in the area that offer similar opportunities but I sadly get put off when I know that others have already executed brilliant work from them or from subjects similar, I have a Rodchenko image that always comes to mind when I see this sort of shot and that is sufficient to tell me that 'Look! it's already been done.....be yourself and do something different with the subject' does that make sense?
