Red and White at Night....

A bit of an experiment really so shot at f11 for 1 sec at 800 ISO, not how I would normally do it but as I said a bit of an experiment....

Oooh I do like Red and White at Night, Kev. I like how, into the distance, the light from the lamp posts is defracting off the fine mist in the air. Also, the picture is really sharp. (I take it you used a tripod, as opposed to the edge of a rubbish bin or a fence rail or something like I woulda probably ended up doing.) Very nice indeed.

Thanks Brian, you may be surprised to learn that in fact this is sat on the bridge railings, no tripod, something I would not even contemplate with the niks but the X10 just gives you the help you need which is probably why I am so pleased with it too

Abbey Shrouded in mist...

Its been a pretty dull grey day today and this is my regular Dawg Trail, was rather hoping for a little less Tower but you gets what you gets

Nice Kev, but it's the tree on the left that I like the most. Reminds me of coral or a fungus growing. Must be the diffuse light.

Cheers and yes Pete I've looked at that tree many times and considered how to get it tight in with little else around, not easy, I did do some last winter of it must see if I can find them out off the other PC.

There are a couple of them dotted around the park, maybe next time I'm short of a 366 subject they'll show up
