A friend has been given one - and it looks brand new in the box, with paperwork etc.

Worth using? Worth selling?

Always worth using ... I'll do a bit of digging/asking see what I can find out as I've not head of it. Maybe a precursor to the "off road" which was also waterproof, but with added shock resistance

Dan hasn't heard of it ... Which as he is a compact camera collector doesn't bode for value well I'd say! May well be rarely found is such good condition etc but I can't imagine it would catch a lot of money!

Lucky assumption Hamish! Quite right, I haven't heard of it :/
Looks quite a chunky one too.
Can't find a comparison one eBay to get a guide of any price.... Looks a rarity!
