ok that's odd - as it's clearly lavender, yet I seem to have tagged it a heather last night after a nice bottle of cab! :D :D

Titles corrected in the cold light of day after a double latte!

Looks as fresh as I expect it smelt Chris. Lovely. :)
It did smell wonderful Pete - and then add in the sounds of thousands of happy bees working away :)

I there was I thinking Heather was your latest model. Wonderful Chris, no 2 is quite delicate.
Sorry Paul - will see if I can find a Heather for a future shoot ;)

Really enjoying the focusing here and finding out the ones that have picked up the sharpest focus.
A nice environment to be out in.
Thanks Tom - I fitted a 4 stop ND to allow me to use the wider apertures on the 56mm lens, to get the bokeh and selective focus I wanted

Well done Chris captured the delicateness of these flowers superbly.
I want to go to the south of france to photograph these flowers....one day :)
Thanks Nick - there's something magical about the color combo of flower and leaf/stem - expect you'll have more of them to shoot in France than we have in SoCal! :D

Thanks Beth - how's that 56mm lens suiting you?
not too well, i never bought it. i might get it before the next big trip, but at the moment i haven't had much time for photography. or a haircut. or an oil change... the 12 techs that make the ops room run 24/7 are down to 8.5 if you count my pregnant coworker's fetus. and we've got big event after big event, nascar this weekend, firefly music festival after that.
