Leaning Tower (of Pisa)

I need to start new work badly; always seems there is something else to do. Pat and I started out today for a session but turned back due to the traffic.
In the meantime here's an older one.

I've never seen a view from this angle Tom. I like it and the relatively uniform tones work ver well. I like the witness mark below the window on the tower - you can see that lean has been there for a while! Those carvings are interesting as well and remind me of some I saw in Marlbork Castle in Poland. I wonder if these also denoted the location of the toilet (hmm, wonder what made that mark?!).

That lens distortion is bad Tom - can't you correct in photoshop? ;)

Thanks Douglas.
Pete, had a look at the carving in Marlbork Castle; wouldn't like to rely on him when looking for the loo especially after a few. Very interesting, you could be right.
Chris; a few layers of muck by your swimming pool plasterers should plumb it up:).

Never seen this in the flesh, the stone looks in a good condition far better then I had pictured in my imagination. A good take on this subject Tom.
