This is Leitz (Leica) Summarit 50mm 1.5 ltm thread. I'm going to keep this up to date with my photos and thoughts on it.
Its really a stunning lens, but not for everyone. Shot wide open, it's almost a special effect lens, it suffers from flare, the out of focus swirls and its pretty soft ... all attributes I find particularly appealing!
This is my copy of the lens, I am lucky(?) enough to have a copy with very clean glass... I have read that others like them with damaged lens coatings to add to the effect of the lens.
