Thanks, Ralph. I agree! There was a huge amount of sunlight coming through those windows, but the combo coped well with it. I cropped out much of it, but that wouldn't change the essentials of what you see.
 
Home, affections, familiar objects, how we love these simple things. When I was a child, I liked to climb a cherry tree in the courtyard of my native home and spy from afar through a lighted window on the life that went on inside my home, as if looking at my habitat from the outside could give me a less subjective, less emotionally involving, and more meaningful meaning.
