Where's the barbed wire?! What an atmospheric shot Brian. I love the delicate shadows on the sand. They really emphasis the texture - very sand-like! And the overall rendering reminds me of those old book illustrations. Very nice indeed. :)

Its basic concrete that building, Pete. It does indeed look like it belongs in a prison. Thanks for the comments, Pete.

This is a cracker, Brian. Really like it. As Pete says, very atmospheric.

So, Happy Birthday! Any camera-related goodies? :)
Thanks, Rob. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the birthday wish. Camera related goodies,...er, yes. So far:

Caiti got me a very fine book about Julius Shulman. Tucker (Caiti's boyfriend) got me a half dozen large bottles of various IPAs (yes, that is photography related), and SWMBO insists in getting me a tripod. (Why,...I don't know.)

Anyway, thanks again, Rob.

Oooh,...that looks lovely, Pete. And thank you!

Er,...The beer I meant, not your knitting. (Although I'm sure the pullover you're making will look lovely on you.:p)
