Little shooter.......

Hi All,

I just bought myself a little shooter Ricoh CX2. My Olympus kit is a bit much to be dragging around on a daily basis. So I thought I'd get something I can keep in the car or my pocket. It's no bigger than a packet of cigarettes and has a 28-300 mm 10.7x optical zoom Lens............ and I got it new for less than niety quid.

The battery is on charge and I've read some of thee manual (that's like a phonebook) ......... I'm looking forward to using it.

I'll post up a few photos from it once I get chance.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on Peter. I use a Ricoh GR Digital III and, as long as the lighting is too tricky, it produces some super shots. The fixed lens is sometimes a bit limiting and, although I do have a wide-angle adapter, I don't often carry it and something a bit longer than the standard focal length would be nice.

Nice! - Man that's a compact camera to have such a large zoom range

Looking forward to seeing some short from it :)

You must out of touch Chris, that's fairly standard these days in fact the cx2 is getting on a bit now ... Fuji do 15x ... For a few quid more than that mind
For less than £90 it's gotta be bloody bargain !!!

I really should be working......... But I just fired off two random shots. These are both as they came out of the camera and I'm really impressed with it.

.........and just one more. Bluebells in our front garden. Or at least I think that's what they are ??? Botany and Gardening have never really been my strong points.

Cheers To All
