Longing

There is a small, local art museum, open air, near my place. I am passing it by most of the times when going out. There are some small statues in the court yard, most of them work of students. This one here is always giving me the feeling that it wants to be noticed, longingly so.

I see what you mean. It does have a lonely feel, hoping to be noticed. The hard lighting shows off the curves of the statue well.

That we can empathize with the feelings a rock suggests is a mark of humanity. It is rather soulful. And like Dave observes, the hard lighting works well here.
