Believe it or not we actually had some of that style in the UK back in the day - always reminded me of that 'Jetsons' era.

There's also a really interesting example on the outskirts of Prescott AZ - must try and take a shot some time

Thanks, Chris! That's a nice example of a googie-style gas station in Arizona. Have to check it out next time I'm through there.

Yes, that style was very popular in the 50s and 60s... but unfortunately isn't very well appreciated these days so examples from that era are disappearing fast.

Great set darren, wow you have been busy!! The petrol stations are awesome, also I'm drawn to the staircase shot. The contrast in angles really do it for me !
