Very nice Darren, especially like the gas station in #2

Believe it or not we actually had some of that style in the UK back in the day - always reminded me of that 'Jetsons' era.

There's also a really interesting example on the outskirts of Prescott AZ - must try and take a shot some time

Thanks, Chris! That's a nice example of a googie-style gas station in Arizona. Have to check it out next time I'm through there.

Yes, that style was very popular in the 50s and 60s... but unfortunately isn't very well appreciated these days so examples from that era are disappearing fast.

awesome set..........cant say which i like best to be honest, maybe i am edging toward your after dark shots.......!!

The first one looks like a gas station from star trek or maybe doctor who.. lol

Thanks, guys! Yes, the furniture is definitely of the same period- including those recliners.

Hamish- hard to say... Maybe the globe lights?

The stairs, of course!
Well guessed Pete ...

The clue was in the last image of yours with blury people and a staircase that I was banging on about how much I liked ... This ones even better by all accounts!

Well it works for me mate
Maybe we should do a theme...
"spiral staircase with blured people"
You would have it in the bag! ;)
