It's a constant source of amusement to me, that folks on sites such as DPR gnash their teeth endlessly about edge to edge sharpness - they point lenses at test charts and brick walls, and test and test

Yet a real test for a lens like this, is how the out of focus areas look - and how much that imparts to the 'emotional' response to the image.

They'll probably never get it!
