The following is for shooting slow moving insects in the field.
I intend reversing both a Helios 135 mm prime and a Helios 58mm prime and conncecting together via a coupler and mounting on my Nikon D80.
Using a tripod for the setup and manually focusing, I will hand hold an Sb 800 speedlight with a diffuser which will be triggered wireless from the D80.
A remote trigger in the othe hand will fire the camera.
I have seen expensive ring lighting setups but don't want to spend much money beyond the purchasing of the 135 mm.
Does this setup sound plausible?
