Malostranská

A few shots from the wonderfully sci-fi Prague metro.

First image is Leica M9 and the other two are Ricoh Digital GR III. PP in LR, PS and Nik.

Thanks both. I think of the PP as a soft Bleach Bypass. I use a monochrome layer with enhanced grain to give the mono image part of the BP and Glamour Glow to give softness to the highlights. And a minor curves adjustment to push contrast up a touch. Seems to work well with both the Leica and Ricoh files (both DNG).

That last shot is incredible Pete. It totally throwa my vision out!! :)

Wonderful in all their metallic goodness Pete

I can't understand why they don't make all cameras dng??? Would make life a lot easier!

Very nice Pete!
That wall is very dalek chic!
The train shot just needs a silhouette figure walking past ... I do like it though!
As for the man on the elevator ... If I ever see anyone taking photos on an elevator I am just going to assume it is you!

Definitely looks like an interesting station. I really like the third one. Those dimples keepp popping in then out. Wow!

It's the second one I like best. And then, the second one's reprise with the train stopped. The woman staring out at you through the open doorway and also the reflection on the left wall of the seated reader. Very cool!

I'd be proud to call that fotie mine, Paul! Indeed, if 'twere me, I think I'd be lurking in that hallway all day long shooting the trains as they come to a halt and the doors open. I'd also station my confederate just around the corner to prevent passers-by from walking into the frame. (I'd probably bring Chris along for that purpose since he seems a big lad.);)

Actually that is pretty much what happened. It was the lady looking out and the one sitting reading that drew my attention but as soon as I raised the camera the two guys walked around the corner. So I took that one and then waited and photographed the train as it left to get the blurred motion.
