Meg with Glasses

She still had her braces in at the time.

Taken last August at The Torridon Hotel in Wester Ross, Scotland.

Olympus XA and Arista Premium 400 film. (Actually re=branded Tri-X.) Processed in Rodinal.

I like all the distortion effects of the views through the glasses Brian and the contrast that makes with Meg being sharply and cleanly focussed. And her expression is a bit enigmatic I find (which I like). Mind, it looks like the light coming through those glasses has set one of the canapés alight! ;)

Thank you, Pete.

There you go with the Euro-lingo again! It's not actually a can of peas. Its just a wee candle.:p

Nice shot...but I'm thinking someone is going to suggest a square crop. ;)

Glenn,...must you encourage him?! ;)

Anyway, thank you.

Love this composition, Brian. 4+2 glasses, a candle light in her heart, a beautiful smile, and a couple of tree layered outside. The ceiling-wall line brings more dynamics. :)

Lovely observations, Nihat. "Candle light in her heart" in particular. Its especially meaningful because she has such a good heart this wee girl. (Very proud of her!)

Thank you.
