Thank you, gentlemen. It really came clear to me today that I wasn't photographing objects or people, but light. It's obvious, in retrospect, but there you have it...

Thanks, Peter, and Thanks, Beth.

I actually woke up at 4am, thinking about these simple lines...something got through to me. I'll admit that part of me was thinking, "The guy gets paid for this?!", but part of me was transfixed with the concept. When all's said and done, for all of us, it comes down to that one line. Well, it seemed really deep at 4am! :D Time for breakfast!

From the Director-Owner of the Ingleby Gallery:

"Hello Rob
Thanks for your kind words and for sending the link.
I enjoyed your photographs and your very personal interpretation of the exhibition.
Good wishes
Richard"

I was hoping for, "Rob, here's 10 thousand quid for one of your images to place in our gallery", but that'll do ;)

These are excellent, Rob. Its like we are watching your transition along the spectrum of photography to some degree, and I love it. #3 really is great!

At least you got a reply. Perhaps you should of cut one of your lutes in half, down the middle and put it into a glass tank of formaldehyde instead.
