I got myself a 1.5x teleconvertor for that bit extra reach when out photographing Birds and though I'd give it a go with the moon.

Changed the white balance to daylight to give a bit of colour to it.

How did you get on focussing - AF or manual focus?

When I photograph the Moon I always manual focus using Live view at 10X magnification.

But when I was out "shooting" birds it auto focused no problem, but it was a bright sunny day.
