Well I had intended to go out and concentrate on some closeup abstract type shots, but it was a tad too chilly to get the gloves off and mess about and I found myself looking at the same area through different eyes, or EYE :D

Anyway Thursdays Walk....included....

The Hedge

Yep you seen this before too but it was foggy that day so I thought I let you see where it goes :D

Oh.....and...

The BIG SLUG!

A flying one at that :D

There may not be many more from here as it looks as though it's going to be to thick with mud after the weekend, we are forecast heavy rain....now that'll make a change from the normal rain we get!!

Thanks for looking

Happy Thursday :)

Like the similarity of the first and fourth. Same composition yet different locations. Wide lenses do bring something different to the image process and at time can give a very attractive slanted view of the world. . Another fine set Kev.

Thanks All Julian the first and forth are from the same Location but looking from a slight different VP, the first being on my way out and the forth on my way back....The tree RoF is the only one in the side of the hedge and naturally draws me to use it in frame. :)

2 for me Kev and will you stop going for walks and just let Cleo roam the garden yer putting the rest of us to shame :D:D

The Trees by the Brook for me - love the slightly curvy image with the trees wrapping over the top

Kev, this set is superb.. Really well thought out and one of the very few shots where powerlines or telephone cables actually look good in a photograph.

Thanks Robert/Rob?

I have been posting similar from my morning walks for the past two weeks, they feature a few times, where I am they are everywhere so it's a case of chain saw or live with them....far too many complaints with the first option :D

I'm digging the fish Kev. I've always been uneasy taking landscape shots with the fisheye, but this might just tempt me now!
Cracking!

Dan. i think it's an underused lens, we buy at GREAT cost and use for silliness a novelty, there is more to it than that I think, it's just a case of understanding it, caress her like you would a ???? and enjoy my friend she will reward you...........get off that iPhone thing and stick ya fish on :D

I need to Kev, iPhone at the moment is taking over the use of my camera.
The thing is, I have 2000 wedding photos, 250 sea cadet shots (including remembrance day) to go through... I'm trying not to add anymore RAW files to the flaptop as it'll only give me more to do! Lol.
It's naffed as it is and it takes AGES to even convert to jpeg, 30 photos could take as long as 10 mins or more!! That's not right surely?
I WILL get that beast out after this weekend. She's had a rest for 2 weeks now!! Tut tut, not good! :(

Certainly knows that mucka.
I hope all this cold weather hasn't been reeking havoc on yer lungs. Lol.
I'm a busy man this weekend though, I've got a photo shoot to do in town, daughters birthday thereafter, Sunday is 'Tough Guy' in Wolverhampton.... Not photoging it.... I've actually paid 90 sheets of my hard earned cash to absolutley destroy myself through 15km of mud, frozen ponds, pig ****, bales of fire, dangling tentacles of electricity, and freezing conditions to dramatically increased risk of hypothermia.... Monday ill be recovering (hopefully not in hospital) and then I guess I'm all yours matey!! :)
