More Hotels

Each time I travel somewhere I get a chance to add to the ongoing Hotels project. Some places are more visually interesting than others but I think it is worthwhile showing something of the different locations if only for a comparison.

Excellent Paul. You are really capturing the feel of travel...using your individual eye. I really...really love watching this whole concept and your abilities.

This make a interest project, I just spent 10mins working out if that water heater could have been plumbed in better! Really liking the chair though

lol so it is! I thought the small white piece of china on the left was a basin and that was a over sink heater. Although it's at a odd height for the pan

Love the whole concept - but the light in #1 is just wonderful

The plumbing in the last shot looks like US sprinkler pipework!

Paul i love these, the second fourth and last for me are stunning from a superb set. I like these front on type shots , creating flat abstract pattens
out of three dimensions. Very creative, from what can otherwise be bland hotel rooms.

Thanks for the replies it is very heartwarming to see such a response especially after I have not been on here for so long, it is good to see there is still mileage in the project yet. Vic, yes it is a toilet cistern, please do not give up your day job to become a plumber. I don't really like the idea of someone turning on their hot tap to find the contents of their toilet pouring out. :)

Chris, The particular site was constructed by an American oil company originally. Libya uses the European system mostly but this place was all US, including the plumbing. Is plastic glued, push-fit piping normal for water utility in the US? It didn't look too durable to me.
