I was really chuffed the kid looked at me, him not being in focus seemed to make it work even more ... Dunno, think I'm going off on a right old tangent at the mo ... You gotta explore these things though I reckon
Not at all. The first the lady is almost ghostly especially the light falling off her hair and the angle the photo was taken.
Intentionally slightly out of focus street for me is rather interesting as it makes me interact more with the image.
I like them very much as well, probably for the same reasons as you and Chris. The first does have a narrative feel to it and that glance in the second does indeed make it. Great timing and I like the guy on the other side of the bus also.
