Nice shot. I'm glad you mentioned about the layered shots because I was just sitting here looking at the image and trying to estimate what shutter speed you might have used.

I couldnt tell you anyway to long ago ... I used your trick to take it ... "wallpod" as i like to call it ... similar to "back-of-benchpod" but more solid!

Nice Hamish. And the layering has worked well I think. I'd chop that detail out bottom left though.

It pushes my button Hamish. I would have cloned out the black smudge at the bottom right as I can't tell what it is. The ghosting effect is particularly nice, I like that a lot.

I can guess wallpod. Once in Canterbury cathedral I used the "silence board" pod. Wallpod came in very handy on the old Brighton pier. I love this image by the way. It's right up my street so to speak

I quite like this one, too. Not much to say for criticism that hasn't already been said - I'd just clone out the distracting bits at the edges of the frame. Nicely done !
