Nice selection there Hamish, especially the more unusual items. I too have the 28mm Ultron and the 75mm Color-Heliar. I have the M-mount adapter rings but now tend to use them either on my Bessa R (LS) or using a mount adapter on a micro 4/3rds video camera as I have both focal lengths in Leica glass as well although the 28mm isn't as fast (but it's much more compact and a great travel lens). The 75mm is a lovely portrait lens though isn't it? As you know I've also got the Voigtlander 12mm f1:5.6 VM Super Wide Heliar plus VF but it's a tricky lens to use. I'll post a shot that was taken using it later. I bought the 35mm f1:1.2 VM Nokton when I bought my MP as it was faster than the Leica lens at the time but have since bought the new Leica 35 f1:1.4 which, although a fraction slower, performs much better on the M9 than the Voightänder - I've not made a comparison on the M6 or MP. I tend to keep just the 35 mm pancake lens on the Bessa R and it lives in the glove compartment of the car along with a couple of rolls of Delta 400.

I've also got a Leica 75mm f1:1.4, 50 f:1/1 90 f1:2.0 and 135 f1:2.8 (the one with the VF converter) along with a couple of ZM lenses. I'll try to get them all is the same country so I can do a 'group shot'.

The bodies are: Leica M6, MP, M8 and M9, Voightländer Bessa R and Zeiss Ikon.

I've also got a Mamiya 7II with a few lenses which used to be my travel camera of choice but I haven't used it for a couple of years. Must get it out again as it is a great system and capable of astonishing quality.

The 75 is a gem I use far too little!
If i was better organised i would dig out a few shots ... ill have to take some with it ...
The x100 has refuled my desire for my r2a and corresponding kit quite a bit

I know what you mean about the 15, i have used it so infrequently ... i find slr's much more suitable for such wide angle shooting! when you have that much stuff in a shot i find you really need a very clear idea of what your getting ... something the accessory vf's dont do so well for me!

I cant remember how i used to use the 28mm with the r2a... i dont suppose you have any idea what i might have used as a guide for framing with the vf?
i really just bought it for the r2a ... which i am now even more keen to get fixed up!!

any idea how the cv 50mm 2.5 skopar fairs? i fancy a better 50...

Hamish you were quite right in the other post. I have the 12mm - you know my gear better than I do! No idea what I was thinking when I wrote that. I've been working on accounts all day and my brain has turned to mush it seems!

Regards the 28mm, I can't recall from the Bessa but on the MP it's just a bit more than the total RF view. Similar with the M9. I've no experience with the 35mm you have but the pancake lens is very nice and the 1:1.2 is a truly great lens. I have the Zeiss Planar 50 f1:2.0 which is a very good lens indeed on both the film cameras and the M8 / M9. Fantastic rendering of out of focus elements and with no noticeable artefacts and aberations.

Hamish - was looking at these on FleaBay yesterday - are the bodies good?

What about the R3A?

Try and find an Industar 22 :D I so need one of those, they look awesome lol
