My father, Geoffrey W. Fynn, was the real photographer and now that he has passed from this mortal coil, I am faced with the unenviable task of finding new homes for contents of the "Aladdin's Cave" of equipment that he acquired over the 80 odd years he was taking and processing pictures. He won one "Honours" and two "First Class" Certificates at the 1993 Club Rollei Salon. So he knew how to take pictures.
On going through his darkroom and store of equipment I think that know where I am with sorting the Rollie TLRs, the Mamiya TLRs, the 645s and all of their ancilliaries etc. etc but I am stuck with trying to identify the Linhof stuff.
Perhaps better qualified forum members than I could review the pictures at: Flickr: Hyde Fynn's Photostream to help me identify what is what. Any idea of value would also be very much appreciated. If this latter part is beyond the remit of this forum any suggestions as to where I might get this sort of advice would also be appreciated. I can't see my 90 year old mother taking up using this sort of kit and so it must all go...
To give extra information on the cameras and lenses:
The camera marked A has a Xenar 1:3,5 / 105 Linhof Synchro Compur SN: 6819067. The camera itself has the serial number 40967.
The camera marked B has a Press - Xenar 1:4.7 / 127 Linhof Compur-Rapid SN: 2360511 The camera itself has the serial number 49721.
Any help would be really gratefully received.
