New camera arrived today...

Well I bought a new camera, possibly as a second camera to my 600d.
I think I'm just gonna stick with it's kit lens for the time being, might possibly get a macro lens for it in the future, but we'll see.
I'm really pleased so far with it, not taken a photos yet mind, it's charging at the mo, but i might take it out when I go to the hairdressers in an hour - smells like a fire outside too, so might go look for that

Anyway, I won't hold you any longer, here's a photo of the little stunner:

That looks like the video equivalent to a stills camera I saw a while back, the stills camera has no screen or view finder and is basically just a small lens attached to a USB with an internal battery, will try and find a link to it.

The whole paragraph was a bit of a joke really, just thought I'd have people thinking about a proper camera
I've taken a whopping 2 photos so far (indoors), and after looking at them on the laptop, I think composing will be much harder than predicted, and it looks to me at least around the 30-40mm mark... Ill be going out shortly though, so ill take it with me.

David - despite it saying that it's a camcorder, it is infact a stills + video camera, I've seen those on ebay too, the USB all in one cameras, however due it being larger than this, I went with this, same principle though

I may possibly be going to a photo walk / meetup in manchester on the 20th, I might take this along too for a laugh, depending on how good it is, I might leave the dslr at home if I'm feeling too lazy to carry it

David , it comes with a lanyard for a neck strap, and also comes with a keyring attachment complete with a miniature snake chain to attach to keys..

Ha Chris! You can get a 'macro lens' for it though, it's like a piece of jelly-silicone with a 'macro lens' in the middle which you sort of stretch over the front.
Who needs a mount? Lol


Well the fire was well and truly put out, road re-opened and no external damage to the house, so I took a photo (hopefully) of the trucks... Ill get on the laptop now
