That first shot is very interesting Paul but not obvious at first sight. I like the fact that you cannot see what is beyond the door and the subdued light it is casting is quite atmospheric. You can tell the season I guess by the pumpkins and leaves (and the 2 conkers that I only noticed when looking closer - are they there by accident or do they mirror the pumpkins in some way?).
The second shot seems at first to be much more obvious. But coming back to it I find there are more questions left unanswered. No w I want to know why the door and path were carved on the tree and whether it has a relationship to the view in the garden. An dis that another frame on the side?
It is definitely worth looking back at previous posts in this thread. The pattern begins to emerge then I think.
