New Nikon A DX format compact

Nikon have announced a new camera the Nikon A.
Sporting a 28mm 2.8 lens and a DX format sensor it is looking pretty impressive! DPR says its 10% bigger than the rx100 in every direction... So pretty small too! Looks interesting ... Especially with the low pass filter free 16mp sensor.

Just leaves me wondering even more about what the next Ricoh GRD will bring ...

I think this also shows that Nikon are starting to take the Fuji X series as competative

At around $450US! With the X100S beginning to ship, I don't think Mr. Nikon is causing Mr. Fuji to lose much sleep.
