New Orleans Frenchman Street

A wonderful street shot, Art. Of course, the eccentricity of the gentleman's attire contributes so much to the quality of this image, though even had his clothing been more conventional it would still be a wonderful street shot. The French Quarter is certainly a feast for the eyes and the camera.

Great shot, Art. We were in Nola back in 2018, principally for a Duran Duran gig at the Fillmore, but managed to experience the early stages of Mardi Gras, enjoying the parade down Bourbon Street. We were only in that area during the day, so missed out on the evening’s musical delights. Amazing atmosphere.

Frenchman St is the place in New Orleans for live music rather than the more known Bourbon St. On any given night you can catch a lot of the local greats. During the day it can be a great place for people watching too.
A great image indeed, absolutely gorgeous. Looking like it was done many many years ago.
