I really like this Brian. The rocks are anchoring the foreground and then the pier zooms off into the haze. Lots of colourful people, plus the bird is an extra bonus
Yes, the Canonet has been getting a workout. The light seals are disintegrating but I'm seeing no evidence of light leakage yet.
It does look like a summer afternoon. It wasn't hazy at all, but the late afternoon sun (it was about 5pm) was strong off to my right front, and I think this rendered the hazy look. You should know--you were there! (See my response to Lesley.)

Thank you, Lesley. Kodak Ektar 100 is a lovely emulsion for color. Given the strong backlighting I had no expectation for any color popping out at all. By the way, I do believe that "bird" you mention is a DSD. (Dodkin Surveillance Duck.) (Chris: Cotcha! )
Apparently there are no such limits on Chris's avian creativity, Pete. However, he cannot fool everyone; did you see what happened to that church he went in?
Ornithotechnology ... I'm going to make it my mission to get tha ino a sentence this week!
lovely shot Brian... Just been looking a Ektar shots of Flickr as it goes ... Trying to decide what slower colour film to take to Wales for landscapes. Do you like it?
The colors Ektar gives you are quite luscious, Hamish. But it tends to redden skin. Sometimes makes it look like people have a sunburn. But, I love that emulsion. It is my favorite color emulsion.
