Critique Welcomed Next Stop, Ursa Major

Thanks Julian - I'm really tempted to try some star fields next time I'm out in AZ where the skies are really dark at night

Yes I was chatting the other day about detail on night time photography, such things as apertures, iso and exposure times for no trails and full trails. The thing which came up along
side this was just how difficult it can be today finding a location where it is truly dark without light pollution. We have a few small beaches which I was told about where the cliffs
give enough protection. I am guessing you have many big spaces to get into to find to do star trails. Trails with that hut would be good though for the added color.

Light pollution here on the coast is bad - but heading inland to the dessert and high dessert should get me some dark skies.

I still want to shoot the VLA in New Mexico - that would be a stunning place for some starfields
