Nikon Fm Body Lend (?)

Sorry to ask;

Would anyone have the likes of a Nikon FM or FM2n body I could possibly borrow for a short while to put a few rolls of film through it in use with my Carl Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 Distagon T* ZF (Nikon mount) lens..?
I'll pay postage charges and it will be well looked after in my care etc.

I've lost touch with film photography (I apologise), so need advice please about which black n' white film are still good to shoot with? I enjoy punchy looking b/w prints with nice range of tones and contrast, but I understand that's in the quality of printing/end result!
What about black n' white film by; Agfa--Ilford--Kodak--Fuji, something like 200asa/400asa film speed?

Where do I buy film on-line, any pointed please ? Any decent on-line places for quality re-prints ?

I appreciate all replies in advance - thank you..!

(To think about 20yrs ago I converted part of my garage and self taught in developing/printing all my own stuff, how times have changed).

You can borrow my FE10 ... It's not the best camera in the world but it will do the job!

Try xp2 ... It's easy to use as it is colour process

Harman express, secondhand darkroom supplies, bob rigby for film

I process mine at max Speilman

XP2 is certainly convenient. The Delta emulsions (eg Ilford Delta 400) would probably give you higher contrast look you are after though. I usually by from SDS.

Failing Hamish's offer, I'll check if my FM2 is in the UK when I get back to the lab next week.

We keep a full range of Ilford in stock, film, chemicals & paper etc & at great prices, give me a call if I can help out, all fresh stock to.Examples below but more stuff available if required only a small example of the popular lines.

Hi Andy; wOw impressive reply with lots to choose from, thank you very much, appreciated!

In your experience which b/w film would you use for serious landscape photography shooting on 35mm film format ?

I'll mainly be using a Carl Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 Distagon T* ZF (Nikon mount) lens.

Thanks for the advice Pete!

Yes, I must get a few rolls of 35mm 'Delta 100' asa, and I've heard the Pan F 50 asa is meant to produce beautiful fine grain b/w images.

I'll probably get a few rolls of each and experiment etc. Exciting film times ahead I hope.

I used to have much enjoyment/pleasure in my home-made dark room many many years ago producing MY own personal b/w images, actually watching the images coming alive in front of you was fascinating, priceless.

Your wellcome Pete for the info, we can get any Ilford item at all including Pan F to just give me a call if I can help out with supplies etc.

You can borrom my FM2n if you are still after one to borrow.

He is borrowing mine :)
