[Milan Vjestica]

I am with flowers and plants the same as my wife with cars. I can identify colours and that is as far as it goes.

This was in a restaurant (The Boat House, Palm Beach AU) during lunch.

Not too sure what it is but it stands out beautifully against the neutral wall. Almost looks like a studio shot. Superb.

For Petes sake, it is a flower situated on the far end of seemingly a trunk which could belong to a cactus family or some sort of a banana tree. With its wonderful natural colours, sharply and acurately presented by an outstanding photographer who rendered it so delicately. Very well done Milan.

Ina solved the mystery. It's an upside down banana flower! They normally hang down but on young plants can grow upwards.

Thank you for the kind works. Ivar, I am speechless (which is a rare thing indeed).
The flower is in a vase in the restaurant. The backdrop is the ceiling as I shot it from a lower angle. I was sitting there having had a very nice lunch and saw the image.
