Critique Welcomed Not just for show

Hello folks.

I'm sorry I post so little. I suppose I don't really have much to say.

Can I show you a few "art" images I've created, and ask your critique, please? Sorry that many are watermarked/stamped, it's a neurosis I have to live with, (or they might come and get me).

Your thoughts, please?

Hmmm.... Should add, these aren't for my commercial business!!!!

Hey Lawrence, good to see you back here. And with some cracking creations. And quite different. I really like the first shot and think the textures and colour layers work well together. The keyboard / guitar merge is very impressive and, in the right context, could be pretty commercial (or at least show what you can do). Same for the smoking guitar although it is my least favourite ofthe three. Anyway, great stuff. :)

Pete, thank you.

You know, it's really hard to post to other photographers... You just can't con 'em! :) The fact that YOU like these is a real help to my confidence. I really struggle to feel any good. I know it's weird, because it's how I make my living, but I still feel, well, ... cr@p.
Many thanks.

Putting aside peoples personal tastes of what they think about particular genres I think they are nicely done and sit well within the boundary of not being tacky. By that I mean they have been created with quite a bit f skill and it shows.

The second especially any music store in londons Denmark Street would be happy to have on their shop window.
The third perhaps reminds of cigarettes perhaps replacing it with lighting (Lightnin' Hopkins stylee).

Paul and Ahmad,

Thank you for your words, time and encouragement. I have an exhibition in Gloucestershire very soon, and was wondering if I'd done the wrong thing!
Your input really is appreciated, Pete, Paul, Ahmad....
Laurence.
